Want Luggage for your upcoming Motorcycle Tour. Read this article for more help and advice.
Why?
Well, one of my main biking dreams on the last ten years is to do a little bit of bike touring. Recently I've purchased a new (well used) BMW R1200GS. Now all I must do is put some Motorcycle Luggage in the thing, plan my journey, locations and stop off points, pick my time and go. It'll oftimes be in the Summer next 365 days.
Honestly I can't wait and therefore the fact I am doing it by myself makes it a real adventure and something of an individual goal that is to be finally achieved.
The question is who luggage though and does someone opt for hard luggage with panniers as well as a top box or do I select set of soft luggage. I have to admit we am moving towards all the hard Motorcycle Luggage option as they are going to much better, harder wearing, safer and waterproof keeping everything within the way it was orignally packed at all.
There is a second question for the brand of luggage to continue for. Givi, SHAD, Motech, which is best? They are all of a similar price when an individual take the fitting kits along with other bits and pieces I'd prefer into the equation but from what I'm able to see Givi, being quite possibly the most established and best identified name, seem to have some sort of wider range of additional than every other producers I've found. They would give me quite possibly the most piece of mind but as this is exactly virgin territory for me My goal is to have to ask of those that have more experience than us for advice.
I have found a web site online called Bici Motorcycles and after talking to them they are considered very knowledgable and are selling free delivery and a bit discount too.
